Being conscious of Covid, Shelburne commemorated Remembrance Day at the community Cenotaph in front of Shelburne’s Town Hall and current Police station. The wonderful Shelburne Royal Canadian Legion 220 Branch conducted the commemoration and the Legion’s Padre, Pastor Gord Horsley was Master of ceremony during this solemn occasion. Most residents followed The Town of Shelburne’s request to stay home and remember our Veterans in their own way, some still attended, donning masks and braving strong winds. The Shelburne community stood strong ensuring with their gratitude, we will never forget.
